This free, family-friendly event celebrated the start of summer while highlighting the power of community collaboration.

Event Highlights:

  • Food & Fun: Complimentary hot dogs for attendees, face painting, frisbee golf, and live music created a festive atmosphere.

  • Community Tables: Multiple local organizations participated, including the Saline County Young Democrats, League of Women Voters, MANDATE, Sunflower Health Plan, Central Kansas Mental Health Center, and Advanced America, providing information, resources, and outreach.

  • Raffle: Attendees had the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses, adding excitement and community engagement.

  • Supporting the Community: Donations collected during the event supported KIC’s ongoing programs, including food assistance, transportation, utility support, educational resources, and immigration support funds.
