Who we are:
The Kansas Impact Coalition began when three women, Shelby Hermosillo, Miranda Bachman, and Becky Norlin, decided to turn their passion for local activism into action that directly helps their community. Seeing the growing needs across North Salina, they came together to build something lasting: a grassroots nonprofit focused on empowerment, compassion, and real solutions.
What started as a few volunteers offering food, transportation, and utility assistance has grown into a network of care that reaches people across Salina. Through resource drives, educational outreach, and community partnerships, KIC has become a trusted force for hope. Meeting people where they are and helping them move forward.
At Kansas Impact Coalition, we believe change starts close to home. By uniting neighbors and lifting each other up, we’re not just addressing needs, we’re strengthening the bonds that make our city thrive.
Mission Statement:
We at Kansas Impact Coalition are dedicated to empowering our community by providing essential resources, education, support, and health initiatives. We engage the community of Salina through the power of volunteering and partnership. We aim to create a strong and inclusive society where we all have a chance to thrive. Together, we can build hope, inspire change, and transform lives for a better tomorrow.
